"Beteween the sand and the sea" (Entre a
areia e o mar) é a bossa irmã de "Mulher Estrela do Mar", do mesmo jeito do
que a sua irmã foi cativada por estímulos e situações similares ... um sonho
onde se repete a mesma visão de uma mulher misteriosa surge do mar, mulher
deusa e seria ao mesmo tempo ... uma figura deliciosamente onírica que dança
pro meu deleite entre a areia e o mar, e que, igual do que uma estrela
cadente, se esfuma de repente, assim tão rapido como apareceu.
Apesar de que a paissagem e a motivação são os mesmos, a música e as letras
diferem muito. Eu compus a musica com um ritmo lento de samba canção (quase
bolero) e as letras descrevem que a presença mais sensual e magica do que em
"Mulher Estrela do Mar" (além de estar escrita em Inglês e não tem tradução
oficial ao Português por enquanto).
Eu sempre vivo esperando pela noite, para que os sonhos me levem novamente
para o lugar onde você mora, para assim poder te amar novamente.
"Between the sand and the sea" is the sister
theme of "Mulher Estrela do Mar", and like her sister was inspired by the same
incitement and episode, ... a repetitive oneiric vision in which a magical woman
arise from the sea , a bit of a enchantress, a bit of a siren ... a deliciously
dreamy apparition that dances to my pleasure between the sand and the sea, and
which, like a shooting star, abruptly vanishes, just as it appeared.
While the scenario and motivation match, the music and the lyrics are very
different. The music is conceived in a slow "samba canção" style (almost bolero)
and the lyrics disclose that mirage in a more sensual and sensuous way than in "Mulher
Estrela do Mar" (besides being written in English and have no official
translation into Portuguese yet).
